What is it?
The City of Marlin Citizens’ Request Tracker (CRT) is a tool that can be used to communicate with City Staff in regards to a non-emergency request for service between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm.  This improved method is user friendly and helps us manage citizens’ request more effectively, to make it easier for you to report problems and to give you confirmation that your request was received, is being look at, is being addressed and that it has been closed out.  You can review your request at any time by simply logging into the Citizens’ Request Tracker….it’s just that easy.

Why Do I Log-In?
When you want to have your request addressed, the Citizens’ Request Tracker will prompt you to LOG-IN and have a PASSWORD as a new user. What this actually does is start a file for your request for YOU and allows CITY STAFF to communicate with you in regards to that particular request via e-mail and it is all kept in the system for you as well as city staff. You will be notified each time a city staff member modifies or adds comments to the request. You will not get these notifications unless you enter an email address.

Who gets my request?

The Citizens’ Request Tracker is designed to send each request to the appropriate city staff that can properly address your request. Each request submitted will be followed by a confirmation email verifying that your request has been submitted to city staff and they will respond to you as quickly as possible. If, by chance, the request has no activity logged by city staff, it will then go automatically to city administration.

The Citizens’ Request Tracker is a cutting edge system designed to assist the City of Marlin staff to serve its citizens in a more professional, efficient, and timely manner.  This system provides for the documentation and processing of each request as well as the ability of additional city staff to monitor the progress at any time.  Please know that our goal is to serve YOU the citizens better and this is the solution we have found.
