Good evening all,

Yesterday, we learned that several employees at city hall have tested positive for the coronavirus. Other employees are being tested today or will be tested by tomorrow. City Hall is being sanitized by the Fire Dept routinely and will continue to be. We cannot mandate anyone from the public to wear masks due to state regulations. However, we will be posting that we “strongly recommend wearing a mask” due to potential for exposure within city hall. The police dept. facility will be closed to the public until further notice. All city staff will wear masks when greeting the public until further notice. Masks and sanitizer will be available to anyone entering city hall. I wanted to make you the public aware of these developments in case you visit city hall. Due to HIPAA guidelines, the names of those affected cannot be released

Have a great week and stay safe.

Caroyln Lofton, Mayor

City of Marlin
