Due to the torrential rains in the City Marlin over the past several days, many areas of the city are flooding. The MACC facility is prone to this condition as well until the plumbing/drainage is completed. The plumbing/drainage work is being done but continues to be delayed by weather events. Today, public works personnel were notified about flood conditions at low spots in the back of the MACC facility; personnel responded to the notification in order to adjust or reposition the dog kennels and the housed dogs due to the wet conditions at the low spot of the MACC. Personnel have made emergency arrangements for these animals to be temporarily relocated for a day or two as an emergency backup.
