James Hommel joined the Marlin Police Department in 2020. He brings over twenty nine years of experience in Law Enforcement. Prior to his appointment in Marlin he served as the Chief of Police at the City of Oakwood for 9 years. Chief Hommel is a Licensed Master Peace Officer and has served in the Narcotics Division for 12 years. He looks forward to building up the Police Department to serve and protect the citizens of Marlin.
