FLOOD WARNING
The City of Marlin in Falls County is currently under a FLOOD ADVISORY by the NWS until 2:30 pm. We are issuing this notice because we have had multiple reports of bridge underpasses with high water, water backing up into homes, and street flooding. The rain is not expected to end until 5:00 pm. The City of Marlin’s poor drainage system is not equipped to handle the amounts of water that has fallen this morning. This is causing the water to back up as it all tries to enter the drains and flow out to the city lake and to the Brazos. Please be advised when approaching flooded areas.
