The Public Works Dept. is continuing to work major sewer and water leak repairs across our community. Currently they are working on 2 sewer leaks and one water leak that is impacting customers in the areas where they are located. They have received numerous requests for pothole repairs and they are working diligently to get to a point where they can address them. Our water office has compiled a list of reported streets and they will be addressed as soon as our crews can get these repairs completed. Last week, they completed a major sewer leak on Agnes St. for most of the week. The week before they worked a major leak out by the Industrial Park. They were able to get Ward St. and Bluebonnet St. graded in between the leak repairs. They are a small crew and they are working in earnest to get our city repairs completed following Winter Storm Uri.
