To all water customers, the city needs your assistance in this emergency operations this morning. This morning at approximately 06:30 a.m. the municipal water plant lost full electrical power, the backup generator kicked in but blew a belt around 07:30 a.m. The plant has enough fresh drinkable water within its system, however we ask that consumers please limit your water use to human and animal consumption only. ONCOR should have power back up very shortly. The mechanic is working in the extreme weather to get the generator back into service as well.

ONCOR is expected to have power restored at the water plant at approximately 9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.

Notice will be posted when the power is restored.

Thanks and keep warm and safe.
