UPDATE:
We have received many requests for updates regarding the progress at the Marlin Water Plant. Plant Director states that they have been encountering minor issues throughout the process that have required repair. They are slowly making water in an effort to ensure that no total system failure occurs. Please be patient as they work to ensure that when our plant returns to full production that this production can continue.
I would like to personally thank the countless volunteers who stepped up to assist with travel to obtain water and the distribution process that occurred in the City of Marlin yesterday and today. Thank you, Mayor Meeks and the City of Waco for a total donation of 10 pallets of water. Our citizens were able to receive some relief today and we are grateful. I am blessed to live in a community of caring individuals who often selflessly work to ensure that their neighbors are cared for. Thank you all again.
